Speculation thread

Pinnock a possibility would not give Lafferty the time of day he is a brilliant player but I have no time for thugs some of his tackles both in the air and on the ground were nothing short of assault I am all for good honest hard tackles but he takes it to far

What’s the chances of a cheeky bid for Greg Stewart who’s just been released by Rangers?

My rangers supporting workmate says he's heard he's going to hearts, but he also told me back in January he was coming to us on loan, so, not really a credible source.

I thought Greg kiltie would've been a good shout, but he's signed for st mirren now.
Would be nice to hear of at least one new signing soon.

I think Kiltie would have been a great capture - just shows the central belt still has more appeal for a lot of these guys, much easier for them to move their families around down there than up to the Highlands.

Having said that, I'm optimistic that we have managed to encourage Callaghan to choose the Highlands over a lot of central belt clubs he could easily have moved to - with out a doubt a standout at Hamilton last season and would have been on a few radars.

Plenty options out there and I'm sure they will have some key targets already identified - really hoping Blair Spittal agrees a new deal and Grivo manages to get a good pre-season under his belt without any setbacks.

Must be the quietest we’ve been for transfer speculation at this time of year for a long time, whether that’s a good thing or not remains to be seen

Damn, you had me going there lol, the suspense is killing me.

surely there must be someone from Dingwall on here who can go on a stakeout and inform us of any unfamiliar faces entering the ground.

Thats another one we've missed out on as he's just signed for killie, thought him or Greg kiltie would've been a good addition, let's hope there's efforts being made to sign Greg stewart before hearts snap him up.
i think we may eventually end up with unknown players from England/Ireland, who knows, may unearth another Liam Boyce type perhaps???

I mean Mackay said as much in that interview. We will be looking down South, and can't do a great deal till the Euros are finished so we can raid the loan market. Fitting in with the identity of the club that MacGregor mentioned of course....

If Malky MacKay didn’t want him, then we didn’t miss out on him.

Being linked with ash Taylor, although Motherwell are trying to get him as well.
We've offered him the captains armband if he signs.

That's for posting those links btw

At least we know that there's been work going on.  Hopefully we'll start to hear some positive news soon.

My Aberdeen supporting mate burst out laughing when I told him we were looking at Ash Taylor.
