Predictions for the final league table at the end of the coming 14/15 season.
Same scoring as last season – My massive total was an embarrassment so deep breath and will try to do better this season
If you get a teams position right you get 5 points
If you are out by 1 then you get 2 points
If up are out by 2 you get 1 points
Out by 3 or more Zilch
Guessing the winner of either the League or Scottish Cup is worth 5 points each if your team is runner up then 3 points

1) Celtic
2) Aberdeen
3) Dundee Utd
4) St Johnstone
5) Motherwell
6) St Mirren
7) Caley Thistle
8) Ross County
9) Dundee
10) Kilmarnock
11) Partick Thistle
12) Hamilton

Scottish Cup – Dundee Utd
League Cup - Hearts

I will say the exactly the same as last season, as long we are an SPFL Premiership club this time next year I will be delighted, and anything else is a bonus.

If I were to be greedy I would like to see another cup run Wink

As much as I really enjoyed the bottom six tussle after the split and the incredible turnout at Tynecastle, I'd happily avoid the sphincter twitching end to the season this time round. I'm tipping us to finish in top six, a good bit of hard work has been carried out by the management team and we have a much stronger squad going into this campaign.

The difference this season is that we appear to have a squad that get on, look a close knit unit and more importantly, players who want to play for County! Last time round we had all sorts of problems, our captain's off field issues, players leaving, others throwing the dummy out of the pram.

This time I'm expecting a lot more unity and desire to better that 7th place finish!

Bring it on!

Sportsound pundits did their forecasts today.
Derek Ferguson tips us for relegation, Chic Young and Richard Gordon have us in the bottom two.
Jim Spence thinks Aberdeen will win the league.
They've been on the sherry.

Well that's a good enough incentive for players and staff (with fans help of course) to prove them all wrong.

If some members of the Open All Mics team are predicting County to go down, I'll take that as a good sign. They're clueless unless discussing the OF or the team they support (usually the OF).
