Post: RE: Season opener against St Johnstone 31/08

Anyone received their ticket(s) for Saturday yet? A Saints supporting colleague has her ticket for the away end. I’m sure the admin staff will be busy enough without me pestering them. I was very sur...

Tends to be tight against StJ. They don’t score many but they’re v good at the back. One-off game we have a chance. No chance of finishing above this lot in the league. 1-1 but perhaps sneak a 2-1.

Very unfortunate that this has taken place. I really fancied us for a half decent cup run. Pre-season is now totally disrupted. Anyone ITK if we can muster a team to play Forfar rather than forfeit t...

35 games played. Goal difference: minus 35. Our amazing consistency will likely result in a 2-1 win for United. More than happy to be proved wrong. COYS.

Let’s face it ... even a mediocre bottom-six side like St. Mirren will score against us. Good news is we’ll stick 3 or 4 past them. A more than welcome three points for the Staggies. COYS

Totally agree with MOGO ... mark Lafferty out of the game and we’re in with a shout. Our defence has been consistently poor most of the season. Time for the guys at the back to perform and put toget...

Scunnered! Pains me to say it but we were second best all over the pitch throughout the second half. Did their keeper have a save to make during the second 45? Tough times ahead!

Plenty huff and puff from both sides and not a great deal between the sides quality-wise. Quietly confident that we’ll go through but our defensive frailties may yet cost us, as they have all season.

Absolutely no positives to be taken from today. Our midfield was overrun and outclassed. The forwards were largely ineffectual ... the young Saints back line have rarely had an easier day. The fact...

StJ still hopeful of a top six place will as always be a tough nut to crack. 1-1 will keep us ticking over nicely with much easier fixtures on the horizon. Will Yogi risk three up front or is it jus...

I thought Hibs looked ok against StJ last week. Plenty of the ball but struggled in front of goal. The big lad Doige looks a handful and our defence has struggled all season. I’ll take a battling 2-2...
