Hibs Tickets
Just cut and pasted from Facebook
| Quote: |
Ross County FC have announced that their allocation of just under 1,600 South Stand tickets for the QF against Hibs will be on sale from 09:00 on 25th
Feb. Season Ticket and Debenture Seat Holders are guaranteed a ticket provided they purchase them before 17:00 on Monday 01st of March.
Head of Administration Ranald Gilbert is expecting a hectic time as fans seek to secure their place at the historic game, “We would expect the 1,600
tickets to sell out relatively quickly given that this is our first appearance in the last 8 of the competition, so we wanted to ensure that our most
loyal fans didn... See more’t miss out. Of course at the same time as guaranteeing tickets for our Season Ticket Holders we didn’t want those who
can’t make every home game, for example those with work commitments or who don’t live in the area, to miss out on what promises to be a memorable day
whatever the result. Therefore we felt this was the fairest solution for all concerned – even if it guarantees that we will be rushed off our feet
over the next few days!”.
Black Isle Supporters Clubs have announced that they have a limited number of seats available on supporters buses. The buses will pick up from
Dingwall, Tore and Inverness with seats priced at £12 return.
In light of expected high demand, seats will be allocated on a strictly first come first served basis and can be booked via Ross County Football Club
during normal office hours either in person or by telephoning 01349 860860

You should have clicked on that before copy and pasting it in two parts. Unless Ranald was doing his best Yorkshire impression that is.
Spoke to the club today and sales start when they open at 9am. I expect I'll see a few of you there while I'm collecting mine!

Yup.
Booked mine just now. Lower tier. Couple of other boys have too. I assume season ticket holders get first dibs, so I hope I'm in the queue right
after them!

What area are we going to make the singing section - upper or lower tier ??
Just so I know when we order

Spoke to Dalry just now, and we're planning the middle of the lower tier. I think that includes County-Mad etc too.

I cant see how the club would let you go through the whole process of buying tickets online, putting in your credit card details and paying and then
the next day saying sorry but your not getting any tickets.
I have bought the County allocation for the entire lower tier of our stand (800 tickets). My plan is to tout them outside the game at 40 quid a pop
thus making myself a profit of £16000 - simples!
On a serious note as a teuchtar exiled at the moment in Edinburgh can I from previous experience recommend a pub called "Middletons" on Easter Road
as a place to go before the game. There are loads of crap pubs on Easter Road this one is okay though.
In general you should avoid the lower end of Easter Road - Four in Hand, The Royal Nip, The Iona Bar, The Albion Bar is a definate no no as its a
total hibee bar.
Interestingly enough although Hibs ground is called Easter Road the stadium is actually on Albion Road.
If you get to Edinburgh I would probably recommend that you go for a pint down Gorgie way as given Hearts fans antipathy towards Hibs you will
probably get a good welcome form them although everything said about the pubs on Easter Road could just as easily apply to the ones on Gorgie Road.
Best food.
Indian: Mother India, Infirmary Street, Tapas stlye, cheap but really tasty.
Chinese: Chop Chop on Morrison Street, Was on Gordon Ramsays F word and absolutely fabulous.
Steak: McKirdys on Morrison Street
Italian: La Favorit on Leith Walk is very good for Pizza but there are 5 Pizza Expresses all of which are good.
Mongolian: Try Cubla Khans on Bernhard Street which is quite close to Hibs ground.
If you fancy a teuchtar bar try "The Hebridies Bar" on Market Street near Waverley station if your getting the train home it near Waverley and you
will usually meet someone from ooop north.

Booked my ticket for the lower tier but as I'm already a season ticket holder ( ) I was almost guaranteed one.
Possibly going for the blue hair for this one, depends on if I can find that blue hair gel again

Gorgie Bar crawl i say!! But thats because i live close, Tynecastle arms then onto the Diggers! then into Town then as MSM suggest avoid the majority
of bars on Easter road i dont imagine we will be welcome. Middletons is a shout tho!!
i missed out Robertsons bar in Gorgie as im sure we all know who that refers to!!

Would heading to the Gorgie area really be a good idea.. considering that teh Rugby is on at Murray field later int he day ?
I would imagine that area would be very busy that day.

Right, will try and get a ticket for the middle of the lower tier. Alness staggie if you give myself a heads up of the number you get and will try to
get as close as that u2u. As Dalry said, look out for the new flag, think some have seen it. Massive is not the word (and yes thats the flag)

Tickets just booked on line.
Even though we've moved out to Bathgate I still consider Robbie's as my local after it being so from 1995 to 2006. I fully intend on being in there
before and after the game. It's on the corner of Leith Walk and Iona Street. While it will likely be full of Hibs fans this isn't a bad thing.
And monkeyspunkmoped you missed Vittoria on the corner of Brunswick
Street and Leith Walk for Italian. The pizza place La Favorita further down
Leith Walk is also owned by Tony & family. You can be sure of good food and a warm welcome. Vittoria especially is good if you have the family
with you - and it is not as expensive as some of the other Italian restaurants on Leith Walk that are at the top near the Playhouse.

Since the lower tier seems to be the one where many are going, and I chose the top....I will loudly belt out any songs which I figure appropriate at
the time.
I will not carry a gun, Frank. When I got thrown into this war I had a clear understanding with the Pentagon: no guns. I'll carry your books,
I'll carry a torch, I'll carry a tune, I'll carry on, carry over, carry forward, Cary Grant, cash and carry, carry me back to Old
Virginia, I'll even 'hari-kari' if you show me how, but I will not carry a gun! -- Hawkeye MASH
