Was hoping for Elgin and caley, but at least we should get through this group at a canter

No I wasn’t (thankfully) but that should never be allowed to be repeated

Somewhat reassuring to see us maintain our 18/19 trend of mediocre 1st half performances (featuring our 1st LaidLOL moment and a ridiculously soft penalty being given our way) followed up by altogether more convincing 2nd halves. Spittal's through-ball after some old-school route one build-up "chef's kiss"

On an unrelated note, the official account's Twitter goal gifs are a nice, if somewhat laboured, touch. Must say the social media output as a whole from the club has also stepped up this summer (it certainly beats what our neighbours were offering when they had that awful, self-aggrandising Miami Vice character running theirs)

I just really wish we'd stop having that weird edited fire/explosion at the start of videos! Looks very early 2000s after effects!

But that's a very minor complaint compared to the better engagement the club is running via its social media channels. Really good to see.

I predict losing the first goal in our usual dodgy first half, but coming back to scrap a victory.

We are not playing Arbroath tonight as that's where Dick Campbell is now. Mon the staggies.

Good, maybe a visit to Hampden could be on the cards again. It's good to keep a positive mood around the club, a wee cup run can help that.

Definitely - and the wins give the team confidence and some of the quick one touch passing and movement around the box has been great to watch - only a couple of weeks before we meet Hamilton in the league - need to get some early points on the board......

Can we get ict in the next round? I hope so.

Edit to add, it would appear not, East Fife have pipped ict to the last spot in the next round.

Who do we want then?

Woohoo, Partick Thistle, look out Foxy here we come !

Down to Partick and a possible game against Scott Fox.

Not the easiest tie, but certainly winnable.
