Alloa away
#1
We've a game today
Worst team in the league
(arguably) worst ground in the league
(arguably) worst away day in the leage
Bring it on! Roll up, roll up!

Prediction: another turgid 1st half from us, before another rousing half-time speech from Ferglewell sees us coming out all guns blazing in the 2nd half and eventually winning fairly comfortably, hopefully then with an opportunity to rest 1 or 2 players ahead of the IMPENDING DOOM of 4 GAMES IN 12 DAYS!

I always liked Recreation Park, it's a loveable dump.

1-0 win please, they'll narrow the pitch to stop Mullin and Midge. Goodwin on the bench for them maybe?

Not an easy game on a plastic pitch deliberately set up to be tight and then the manager gets them to try and play a bit. All designed to confuse everyone including the home support

Well, all we have to do is match or better United's results from here on in. And we're doing that at least...

I see Keith Watson has had to go off injured, hopefully nothing that's going to keep him out for the next few games, very important player and would be a huge loss.

Lost 1-0. Terrible, terrible result. Mckay's been a massive loss. QOS still leading 2-1 over Dundee United, but there's no way this team should be looking for other teams to help them.

Atrocious result. That is a chance missed to increase our lead before playing Utd next week.

Kudos to Alloa for being resolute

Starting to lose count of the amount of games we have left this season discussing amongst ourselves how poor we have been.

A comment was made a few months back that some got very upset about, saying we were going to win the league by default. Would certainly take that now.

true so only have to hope DDU lose every game from now on because we have been crap for weeks I fully expect to freeze to death in the dump on Tuesday watching yet another pish poor performance really hope we can scrape a draw there is no way we will win if we continue to play the way we have been shot shy and trying to walk the ball into the net

How much did the plastic pitch have to do with our performance today? Caley and Ayr now back in the mix making these games very, very big. It's getting like Brexit we can win the league, we can throw it away, any more injuries and the team won't know its fellow players, or we hope some players get back to fitness quicker.

The Ball was slow running on that pitch today

Every time we drop points we haven't been punished generally this year- same again today. We are riding our luck at times.

Our best centre half, most creative midfielder and best striker out on top of the injuries really isn't helping.

That's the first time in my life I've had a Pie on a roll.

Alloa deserved the 3 pts. We created very little, relying on Midge as usual. Mullin never got going, very difficult team to play against on that pitch.

Hopefully the injury to Watson isn't serious. Two excellent saves by Fox before they scored.
Midge took some heavy treatment and looked like he was going off injured at one point, but battled on.
Our last throw of the dice was replacing Fraser with Armstrong and going 3 at the back, but to no avail.

The referee was utter gash and had several County players seething. Mullin was booked for diving.

Not a good day, but Utd lost and somehow we are still stop, a bizarre season.
