Thanks - sounds like County did well and were unlucky not to get a point from the match. Hope Dow's injury is not too serious.

From The P+ J
County’s reserve side cruised into the last four after a 7-1 win over North Caledonian League side Invergordon. Ben Johnstone opened the scoring for the young Staggies before Ross MacIver’s double and Tom Kelly’s goal had them four clear by the break. Shaun Kerr pulled one back for Invergordon from the penalty spot before Russell Dingwall and James Wallace’s braced ensured a comfortable evening for County.

Harry Paton looks head and shoulders above that level.
Almost a shame that our midfield is so crowded that he's down the pecking order.

With injuries and suspensions Paton will definitely feature in our midfield - liked what I saw of him when he has played

Good. The club needs to be developing the beginnings of next year's squad /first 11 (hopefully in the Premiership) too. That's the direction we need to be developing players like HP for.

Good workout for the young guns who looked pretty sharp and moved the ball around well, venue to be agreed, but should be a good final against ICT on 7th October

For the North of Scotland cup did we enter with the reserves or entered and then chose to play the reserves? Same question for Caley, is it their reserve team or 1st team?
Sorry I was trying to find this sort of info Today on the internets but failed....

It's all about an age limit isn't it? You have to play young dudes.
