It is great fun, just shows that whilst we are old(er) boys we are still just boys at heart. It is also a lot harder than you may think, so you get a great workout. I never thought i would play football again, but have been for the last couple of years thanks to this initiative. Long may it continue.

For over 50's walking football.

In addition to the regular Monday nights indoors at the Highland Football Academy 6.00 to 7.00 we are considering an additional outdoor session at Conon primary astroturf for either Wednesday or Friday.

Anybody interested please contact through our facebook page by pm or e mail.

Cost would be £2.50 a session if we get enough interest.

Its the nations fastest growing sport so why not come along next Monday (20th August) to Conon from 6.30 to 7.30 or every Monday thereafter from 6.00 to 7.00 at Highland Football Academy over the bridge.

If there is enough interest in an additional session look for further announcements but in the meantime dont miss the Monday Night walking football live on astroturf TV and remember its for men and women of any and all ability.

Because it's spamming the forum. This is the Ross County forum, not the walking team forum.

In what respect is it spamming.

The walking football is an official part of Ross County and most of the players and potential players are indeed Ross County fans.

May I respectfully suggest if you dont like just dont read problem solved.

Meanwhile this is an initiative aimed at getting more mature members of society to be more active and as such make our nation fitter and less expensive. Is that not a great idea I am sure you will agree and our aim is to get 50 over 50's playing and make Ross County Walking FC a pre-eminent force for good.

Completely agree. Just create a Walking Team thread and update that.

Sorry guys didnt for one second think 4 threads on a message board that is hardly spaghetti junction would be an issue.

Good to hear your interest though perhaps we will see you both along on a Monday night soon.

In the meantime presumably you wont mind us trying to advertise the official
ROSS COUNTY WALKING FOOTBALL TEAM which exists to help grow the community aspirations of the club in a positive fashion.

No it's not exactly spaghetti junction but by updating the one Walking Football thread you at least keep it relevant and at the top of the list. A new thread every time is ott on otb!

I've taken an executive decision and merged the walking football team threads in to one. That gives us one place for anyone who's interested in it - and I think it's a great initiative, FWIW - to discuss arrangements etc.

For walking fotball over 50's (mainly) at Highland Football Academy over the bridge 6.00 to 7.00 £2.00 per session. Recommences Monday 27th August.

Part of the official Ross County team so why not come on down and see if you can get a game for Ross County FC male or female all abilities.

PS Appreciate its not part of the thread but we are trying to attract new members to help the community development of YOUR club. So please leave separate until Monday then merge by all means otherwise new folk may miss the message.

The whole point of the thread is when there is a new comment on them, it brings the entire thread back to the top. It also means people can look back through it to see what it is all about.
