New Songs
#1
With all the talk of how how the singing section could be improved upon and a lot of people are saying we need some new songs. Here's a thread where people can put across their ideas for new County classics.
Has he got a final baaaalllll???    Shalk's there!!!!

For away games ....was discussed on Saturday and favourable as no other team sings it apart from the national team.
??we'll be coming,we'll be coming down the road,
When you hear the noise of the Ross county boys ,
We'll be coming down the road???

Someone mentioned this wee ditty before which I thought was quite catchy:

Gardyne to the right of me (could be switched to Cardle)
Carey to the left
Here I am
Stuck in the middle De Leeuw

Often though a chant of 'WE SUPPORT OUR LOCAL TEAM' should perhaps be belted out when either of the OF come to town.

Or what about And we'll sing by Runrig as sort of an anthem, maybe twisting some of the words to suit us?

An anthem rather than a chant. For the next time we are at Hampden.

We are Ross County, the best in dark blue
Proud to be Staggies and Highlanders too
So Victoria Park is where I’ll always be
Now and forever it’ll always be County for me.

We are from Dingwall, the star of the north
Where the Peffery flows, not the Clyde or the Forth
So Victoria Park is where I’ll always be
Now and forever it’ll always be County for me.

Sometimes we’re brilliant, and sometimes we’re gash
And sometimes we're playing with style and panache
So Victoria Park is where I’ll always be
Now and forever it’ll always be County for me.

Sung to the tune She's always a Woman by Fyfe Dangerfield. It's a brilliant tune and really good for a football anthem as it has a narrow range and can be sung by those who can sing and shouted by those who are drunk or just think they can sing (just like You'll never walk Alone). And it has a bit in the middle where everybody can just go la la la without having to remember any words. Give it a go. You know you want to.

No, honestly, I made it up. I didn't even know Billy Joel was a County fan.
